Of course I think this opt-in approach is a great, authentic way to reward your best customers, encourage more spending and return visits, improving cash flow - and inspiring bragging rights.

Some time you might want to cover the growing trend towards "social enterprises" - companies that make money while making the world better.
The (Jeff) Skoll just finished a World Forum at Oxford University where entrepreneurs engaged in such businesses could compare notes.

One of my favorites is LaborFair.com it is the first, online, person-to-person job referral network to find reputable help fast while supporting the working poor in moving up the economic ladder
